Virginia’s emergency physicians have stories to tell, issues to support, and battles to fight – all in the name of providing quality, 24/7 patient care for all people.

You can help us get the message out and make an impact by supporting the Virginia College of Emergency Physicians. We have several ways of giving that align to your own personal and professional giving goals and objectives.

EMPAC/VA is our political and lobbying arm. Every year, we are active in the Virginia General Assembly to either support bills or ensure legislation is passed that is in the best interests of patients. EMPAC/VA also engages in direct contributions to candidates for elected office. As a political action committee, contributions to EMPAC/VA are not deductible for tax purposes.

Statewide Action Trust (STAT)

Not all our advocacy is political. Our Statewide Action Trust, or STAT, is an "action" arm that supports legislative, legal, regulatory, and media advocacy on behalf of emergency physicians in Virginia. These funds may be deductible as a business expense. VACEP recommends an annual pledge of $0.xx per emergency department visit, per group, to STAT. Donations may be deducted as a business expense.

Leadership & Advocacy Fellowship

Support the next generation of emergency medicine. By giving to our Leadership & Advocacy Fellowship, you help early-career emergency physicians further develop their skills, lead state and national advocacy, and develop relationships with leaders in medicine and health policy. Donations are not charitable but may be deductible as a business expense.
